Companies across the globe using advertising to sell their goods and products. Other countries do not have the standards or the couth that the US has. Hard to believe I understand. The Ford Automobile company overseas has gotten into some hot water for it's latest ad campaign. Its not really safe for work, but its not terrible. Just has to do with Bondage that's all.

3 ad's have been pulled from Ford's print schedule in India, according to "Ford India Ad: Car Company, Ad Agency Apologize For Figo Ad Showing Gagged & Bound Women (IMAGE)" from the Huffington Post

"the one that has perhaps received the most attention features caricatures of three scantily-clad women with their hands and feet bound and their mouths gagged. In the driver's seat -- looking back and flashing a peace sign -- is a grinning man who looks a lot like Silvio Berlusconi, the embattled former Prime Minister of Italy. (Berlusconi is, of course, not only known for throwing wild "bunga bunga" sex parties, but is facing charges of paying for sex with an underage woman.)"

Here's the ad in question.

This wasnt the only ad. The story continues

"Another version shows Paris Hilton similarly kidnapping a trio of Kardashians, while a third (tame in terms of the clothing at least), has Michael Schumacher toting Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso, and Lewis Hamilton."

Those Indians. Wow. I still havent figured out if this is real, but if it IS...wow. Pretty ballsy for a company that owns the worst football team in history. Oh and a 100 year old car company. And the football team.
