Wednesday, a Portland, Oregon homeowner shot a naked man who had broken into his home. That naked intruder has been identified by police as 33-year-old Stanley Wilson III, a former cornerback for the Detroit Lions.

Wilson was drafted by the Lions in 2005 and played three seasons in Detroit before an injury sidelined him for good.

Wilson was shot while trying to break in through the back window of a multi-million dollar home. He's still hospitalized, but is expected to recover.

In Oregon, under their Revised Statute 161.269, it is legal for a homeowner to use ""deadly physical force upon another person" if they believe that person is trying to burglarize them.
