Tuesday is Sept. 16. That's Mexican Independence day.

Wait, what? What about Cinco de Mayo?

Cinco de Mayo is just a celebration for a victory in a war for Mexico. And in Mexico, it's hardly celebrated. It's way more of a "drinking and partying" holiday in the US then anything else.

The REAL Mexican Independence Day is today. Tuesday, September 16. And On the Border is havin' a party!

With free chips and salsa every day, its' always a celebration at On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina. On The Border wanted to do a little more for its guests on Mexico's Independence Day. So, on Tuesday, September 16, guests at OTB will enjoy a cup of the restaurant's signature Original Queso, featuring fresh-chopped jalapeno, tomato, onion, poblano & cilantro, normally up to a $4.99 value, for FREE. Guests may choose to kick it up "Carne Style" by adding seasoned ground beef for only a buck. In addition to free Queso, OTB will feature $3 House Margaritas and $3 Lunazul shots on September 16."

Yum! Later this week: more free food! Keep watching here!
