In a unheralded college relay race, attended by next to no one, a woman named Phil Healy came from more than 40 meters back on the final leg of a 1600 meter (one mile) relay race to earn the victory for her team.

But what's even more impressive is the hysterical play-by-play call by the Irish announcers.

The 4-by-400 women's relay at an Irish college track-and-field meet sounds about as exciting as watching paint dry. Except for the finish of this one -- and the announcer's insane call.

At Saturday’s Irish University Athletics Association intervarsity games the University College team built a seemingly insurmountable 30 meter lead, hoping that the team anchored by 'Olympic hopeful' Michelle Finn couldn't catch them, but she did. The twist comes when Healy catches Finn at the wire and then collapses.

As the announcer put it, Healy came 'from the depths of hell' to win the race. And if you've ever run a 400 meter race, you know he's not lying.
