Sure you can go to the neighborhood store for some peaches but why when you can get them straight from Georgia?! It's called a Georgia Peach for a reason, right?

Monday is your opportunity to get those fresh Georgia peaches as The Peach Truck rolls through West Michigan. According to their schedule they will be at the following places:

  • Grand Rapids: 9a-10:30a @ Family Farm & Home and Romence Gardens & Greenhouses
  • Hudsonville: 12p-1:30p @ Gemmens Home & Hardware
  • Comstock Park: 12p-1:30p @ Tractor Supply
  • Allendale: 3p-4:30p @ Countryside Greenhouse
  • Kalamazoo: 3:30p-5p @ Wedel's Nursery

Peaches are sold by the ½ bushel (25 lbs) box for $40 or in 3 lb bags for $8. The Peach Truck has more than peaches though... you can also buy their pecans at $14/lb. No reservations are required, everything is sold on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The Peach Truck has been makings its rounds across the state. It was in the Southeast part of Michigan on Sunday before heading our way. The Peach Truck began in 2012 and has been traveling to different states to deliver some of the best tasting peaches you'll ever have!

Just in case you happen to miss the truck this time around, it'll be back in all of the listed locations on July 30th, including the 29th in Holland.
