Get Ready Wally World! ‘National Lampoon’s Vacation’ Is Getting A Reboot

In news to make you smile, the Griswolds are coming back, and they’ll be going on another National Lampoons Family Vacation. That’s right, Chevy Chase, Beverly D’Angelo and the rest of the Griswolds are reuniting for the sixth installment in the vacation franchise.

This time, however, Rusty Griswold is all grown up and he’s attempting to follow in his father’s footsteps, by taking his own family to the legendary Wally World theme park. However, it won’t be Anthony Michael Hall in the role he originated. Instead, Ed Helms will be playing Rusty. He’s actually the fifth actor to play the part. Meanwhile, Christina Applegate will play his wife, Debbie, the mother to their two sons. Leslie Mann will play Rusty’s sister Audrey, and Chris Hemsworth is playing her husband, a successful Texas news anchor.
