Give Blood, Get A T-Shirt [Audio]

Summer blood supplies generally run low, mainly because many regular donors are on vacation. That's where YOU step up, and fill in the gap.

And now is the time to step up, and get a pretty cool T-shirt for doing so.

Michigan Blood is having its big "Love Michigan" summer blood drive this week, and you get rewarded for your time and blood.

If you stop by the Grand Rapids donor center, 1036 Fuller NE, this week to donate a pint of blood, you'll get a free "America's High Five!" t-shirt from Mitten State apparel and a shopping bag from Spartan Nash, filled with Michigan products like Better Made chips and Old Orchard apple juice.

So be a hero to someone who needs you this Holiday weekend, give the gift of life, give blood.

Wednesday July 2 – Thursday July 3   8 am – 7:00 pm

Friday, July 4                                           8 am – 3:30 pm

Saturday, July 5                                       7 am – 4:00 pm
