Pop a Dramamine and put on your helmet ... someone strapped a GoPro on their bike and went for a ride on a trail at Cannonsburg Ski Resort.

I've skipped it to the good part.

Fun singletrack trail system in the Grand Rapids, MI area. Here is a preview from the GoPro of the trail in the fall with all the leaves down at Cannonsburg ski resort!

Holy motion sickness Batman. I'm feeling a bit wheezy after that video. I the fish eye effect of the GoPro with the world going backwards. Whew! It's a bit much. But I get why they did that. Once upon a time I strapped a camera on the front of my atv to my handle bars. The video was unusable, as every little turn was a dramatic pan left or right.

Maybe if they took that video and completely reversed it? That might be weird too.

You know last summer, I said to myself 'self, you should ride your bike more this summer'. Then the other part of myself said 'self, you need to act like a responsible adult and you have work to do around the house first. After you do that then you can go ride your bike.' I actually did it a few times.

There's something magical to me about getting on a bike, suddenly I'm a kid again. Sadly I live a bit too far to make biking my daily commute .. unless I want to add 3 hours to my day for travel. But, zipping up and down the streets of my neighborhood, took me back to my childhood.

Maybe next year I should try out the trails at Cannonsburg. Though if it took this person an HOUR to ride the trails. I'd probably spend 3 days on the trail. I guess I'll stick to my neighborhood for now.
