Max Zahir was approached by a homeless veteran at a gas station, asking for change. When Max asked the veteran what the money was for, he told him he had not eaten in a day. Max drove the tearfully thankful vet to a nearby fast food restaurant for lunch, and then posted the video on YouTube.

It's a simple act of kindness, he is moved by the man's reaction to his buying him lunch, so he promises to return and do the same everyday until the man gets himself straight. This video prompted many to help the veteran, and now it appears he may have a home soon.

Max has also started a GoFundMe project. He is asking for $10,000 to purchase sleeping bags, blankets and food for the homeless this winter.
