Governor Snyder Released From Hospital
Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder was hospitalized with a blood clot in his leg on Thursday.
This morning, Snyder was released from the hospital.
The hospitalization came about a month after having surgery on his leg for a torn Achilles. Snyder noticed swelling early Thursday morning, went to the hospital to get it checked, then was admitted.
Snyder worked and rested at St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor over the weekend before getting released this morning.
Snyder remains on medication and has been advised by doctors to limit his schedule.
Snyder's next public appearance is scheduled for Wednesday, when he plans to present the state budget in Lansing.
