This drone fly over of the State Park Beach in Grand Haven immediately following Saturday's early morning thunderstorms demonstrates how a rain storm effectively cleans the beach of people, leaving a peaceful, calm vibe.

There is a kind of fresh feeling left behind after a Michigan thunderstorm rumbles through, and Saturday morning was no exception.

Brian Fisher posted this drone footage of the Grand Haven State Park Beach and the Channel, showing the area devoid of people and boats, something rarely experienced on any summer weekend at the Shore.

There are a few souls out there on the beach, but the pier is remarkably free of pedestrians, which is very rare.
