Grand Rapids is More than Just a City
It's like a bunch of cities all in one. This is a really cool video from the good people at Experience Grand Rapids that explains all of the neighborhoods of Grand Rapids.
Grand Rapids is home to many unique destination neighborhoods. Experience Grand Rapids highlights what makes each of them different. This was to be the first of a series, however after its release questions surfaced about the level of diversity in the video. Given the nature of the comments we reached out to our community partners, including members of our Board of Directors and our Diversity & Inclusion Committee, and made the decision to delay further video releases until we could thoroughly review the situation. As an organization, we continue to work on our cultural competency and will reflect that in all further efforts.
My wife and I are going to be buying a house in the near future so this video is just what we need for research purposes.
