Grand Rapids has made WalletHub's list of the best foodie cities in America and to make it even better, Grand Rapids was in the top 50 and beat out cities like Boston, Baltimore, and even New Orleans.

Grand Rapids came in at #36 on the list, right in between Tucson, AZ (#35) and Cleveland, OH (#37).  The survey was based on both food you can purchase at grocery stores, farmers markets, and specialty shops as well as food you would get at restaurants, food trucks, and even fast food diversity.

  1. Portland, OR
  2. San Francisco, CA
  3. Miami, FL
  4. New York, NY
  5. Los Angeles, CA
  6. Orlando, FL
  7. Las Vegas, NV
  8. Seattle, WA
  9. San Diego, CA
  10. Austin, TX

The only other city in Michigan to make the list was Detroit, coming in at #71.  Detroit also ranked second among cities with the lowest average beer and wine prices.  So, next time you are looking for a cheap night our full of adult beverages, Detroit just might be your goto!
