Grand Rapids Mayor Bikes To Work

May is National Bike Month - and our very own Mayor Bikes into work.  Way to set an example mayor Heartwell!

He made the gesture to encourage people to ride their bikes to work as a way to stay fit, save money on gas and parking, and have a little fun - which is great.

How much you want to beat he has a really nice bike? I bet it's better than my 1980 Hand-Me-Down Schwinn!

Grand Rapids is  trying to become more bicycle-friendly by creating more on-street bike lanes and adding more bicycle parking downtown - It's about time!

Nice example Mr. Mayor!  Get out your bike and hit one of the many great kent trails we have here, or the White Pine Trail is great too!
