Former Tri-Unity Christian High School and Central Michgian University hoop star Chris Kaman is going out of his way to prove that Michigan men are indeed immature.

His new web-based reality series, "Exploring Chris Kaman" has Chris and his posse living through a bunch of fun adventures, including fishing for marlin, shooting automatic weapons, blowing stuff up with fireworks and eating fish eyeballs.

The only question I have after viewing the trailer below is: How can I be Chris' friend?

Here's how the website, exploringkaman.com describes the series:

Exploring Kaman" follows Chris and his buddies on one such adventure as they sail from Los Angeles to Central America on a 65-foot fishing boat named 'Sasquatch' after the hirsute Kaman's NBA nickname. Kaman has one goal: to catch a 1,000 lb. Blue Marlin. However, with little professional guidance and the strong, clashing personalities of his companions, he finds himself on an adventure wilder and weirder than he could have prepared for.

Armed with just two cameras to capture the trip—one in the hands of a professional filmmaker, but the other in the hands of a delusional method actor who frequently turns the lens on himself for bizarre analysis—the unscripted tale unfolds.

At times reprehensible, grotesque and juvenile, and at others inspiring, endearing and relatable, Exploring Kaman offers a new kind of sports personality with a refreshing, blunt intelligence, an unbridled lust for adventure, rural charisma and a heart of gold.

I'm not really sure what "rural charisma" is, but I think it has something to do with doing rednecky stuff, like trying to take on a gun on a fishing boat in Mexico, or picking his nose while talking about landing a blue marlin.

The series begins today.
