Last month, a 23-year-old man turned over videos of him catching online predators who had been lured to local parking lots under the guise of meeting an underage person for sex.

After filing charges against seven of the men, the GRPD wants the man known as 'Anxiety War' to stop it.

The man, who's real name is Zach Sweers, recently posted another video of him approaching an alleged child predator in Grand Rapids. The police responded that there are no charges pending in that case and have officially issued a statement asking him to stop.

The latest video featured another man with Sweers, identified as his brother, who was sporting a holstered gun, which was pulled out as the suspect drove away.

Warning: Video contains graphic sexual discussions and is NSFW.

Kent County Prosecutor William Forsyth told WZZM 13 News that he has sent a letter to Sweers asking him to cease his actions posing as undeage girls online to lure in predators. In the letter, Forsyth warned that a holstered gun could escalate the situation, especially if the alleged predator pulls out a gun in response.

The Prosecutor is asking Sweers to cease engaging in these "dangerous acts immediately."

Sweers, responded almost immediately with this statement:

Regarding the prosecutor’s decision not to pursue charges against future predators I find:

This is not new news to me. In fact, I knew about the prosecutor’s stance not to take more cases since March 23, after I reported the Richmond Park predator to the GRPD. It was then when I was made aware by the GRPD that the prosecutor wouldn’t take future cases due to fearing for my safety, in no way wanting to encourage me to continue confronting predators.

Let’s rewind a little bit. When I first approached GRPD on February 18 to report several predators, I knew they would fear for my safety – I expected that response. For this reason, in the first communication I sent the GRPD, I told them that I don’t have to confront these predators – I can be out of the picture so long as arrests are made when predators arrive to the meeting location (I mentioned that absent immediate arrests, the predators could go home and delete child porn they may have). I also informed the police that they can have direct access to the accounts I’ve used or am using in communication with the predators so they can see exactly what’s going on for probable cause.

In response, the GRPD told me they would look into the guys I reported but expressed concerns for my safety despite what I said that would eliminate those safety concerns. They did not entertain my proposal for future cases of me being out of the picture for the meetups.
This means the predator I confronted while pretending to be a 13-year-old boy at Richmond Park on March 22 was the first subject not to be considered for prosecution.
Therefore, on April 30 when I confronted a predator with my brother, the notion that my brother carrying a gun as being the reason that contributed to the prosecutor’s decision not to pursue charges for future cases is false.

The notion that my brother was open carrying the gun the whole time is also false. (You can watch the video he refers to above - ed.)

Of course I know it’s a bad idea to openly carry a gun in the view of someone who may feel trapped for reasons the prosecutor stated. I agree. But the fact of the matter is my brother was concealing his pistol until the end when the predator was leaving, out of the view of the predator.

When I received a phone call from the police yesterday about that most recent video, I explained that my brother was concealing his pistol until the predator started leaving, when he would not see the pistol. Yes, my brother has a CPL and security training. That’s the reason why he was there, for security, since everyone values safety.

During this same phone call of being asked to stop by the police due to safety concerns, I again reiterated my proposal mentioned above that would eliminate those safety concerns. This idea was once again not entertained.

I have mentioned before that I DO NOT want to become a police officer. I’m simply a man who finds the need to bust predators since the supply of predators is way too high and the demand to stop them is too low right now. Therefore, there must be greater demand – greater resistance. This is what the public wants, this is what the public needs and this is what the public deserves.

I’m an adult; I can make my own choices and I understand the risks. Why is everyone focusing on me? Why is the safety of children being ignored?
