Grand Rapids Rapid Bus Vote Passes

Wow, so I was watching the results come in last night for the Grand Rapids Rapid Bus Millage vote, and the screen flashed 50%-50% - with just a few votes left to be counted.

As it turns out, the operation millage past buy just 136 votes out of over 35,000 - doesn't get much closer than that.

Many of my friends and co-workers ride the bus, so personally, I was glad to see it pass, but at the same time, I can understand the oppositions view as well, and respect that.

This is just a reminder to us that EVERY vote really does count, whether it be for the busses, Senator, Dog Catcher, and President!
