So Grand Rapids DOESN'T have game! At least the NCAA doesn't think so! WZZM TV 13 is reporting the NCAA has passed on a chance to change the venue for the Tournaments' play in game in 2014 and 2015. Commonly referred to as the "First Four", Van Andel Arena would have hosted the first 2 games, and Michigan State would have been the host school.

Instead the NCAA went with it's tried and true location for the "First Four", Dayton, Ohio. The tournament has stared in Dayton since 2001 and will continue to for the next 3 years. The committee declined to give a reason why they passed on Grand Rapids.
