Grand Valley Tries To Continue Amazing Playoff Run [Video]

The GVSU Lakers have won three straight games in the NCAA Division II playoffs. All on the road, all being the underdog. Can they keep it up for two more weeks to win the title?

The Lakers dispatched of GLIAC division champions Ashland and Ferris State in the first two playoff games, and then last week thrashed Colorado State-Pueblo, 31-7 on their home field to advance to the National Semi-finals. 

This week the Lakers travel to West Virginia, to the scenic river town of Shepherdsburg to take on Shepherd University. The game will be broadcast online at ESPN 3 starting at 12 noon. A win would put the Lakers in the National Title Game next Saturday at Sporting Park in Kansas City.
