Like some kids, I had a job during college. I was lucky enough to work at a radio station while I was in school to make some extra cash. SI had grants and loans to actually pay for school however. Some kids of course have to pay for their own college. But this is 2013. Kids around MSU and UofM have found a new, more creative way to get their tuition taken care of.

Last night, Channel 13 had a story up on their website about a new service for college kids to have "Sugar Daddies" to take care of their college costs. The website is "SeekingArrangement.com...The #1 Sugar Daddy and Sugar Baby Website"

The story quotes Brandon Wade, founder of Seeking Arrangement "College should be an opportunity to expand the mind and experience new things. Unfortunately, because of the of recent tuition hikes, the college experience has become greatly unbalanced. While some may argue that these women are just using men for their own personal gain, I believe that they are proactive in pursuing a higher education."

Michigan State University is the fastest growing university in the state as far as students signing up for the web site, approximately 133% growth. Other universities showing big growth in Michigan are Eastern Michigan University, Wayne State University and the University of Michigan.

In 2012, there were 108 signups at MSU; 84 at EMU; 80 at UM and 76 at WSU.

What do YOU think? Is this the way a girl (or guy, I guess) should be making their way through college, dating a rich person who pays for everything?
