Sir Paul McCartney told the press at a conference for a documentary about his post 9/11 experience that he had been hacked. He didn't disclose which British tabloid he believed had tapped his phone calls, but does intend to speak with the British authorities about the incident.

His ex-wife Heather Mills stated that she had learned from an insider at the Daily Mirror that the organization had been listening to phone messages for quite some time. McCartney states that the incident is a "horrendous act of invasion of privacy" that had been going on for way too long. This saga came to light during a promotional tour for his documentary called 'The Love we Make,' which chronicles his experiences following the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Do you think that this invasion of privacy is a serious problem, or is it your opinion that celebrities trade in their privacy for the fame?
