From 1954 until January of this year, Playboy magazine published a nude centerfold in its magazine. These became the wallpaper for young men the world over and were displayed everywhere from dorm rooms, to bunkers in Vietnam, to garage walls.

Now, some enterprsing young chap has taken every one of them and set them to the J. Geils Band song 'Centerfold'.

The montage plays out like a slow burn through the mores of American society, as the poses and the staging roll though the '60s, '70s and '80s, with each decade getting more revealing, and more airbrushed.

The photos came from this Imgur feed, and the song, of course, is sung by Peter Wolf with the J. Geils Band. .

Caution, there is nudity involved, so its really not safe for work, or NSFW, as the kids call it. (Google sign in to prove age is required). Hats off to Ryan Powers for doing this.
