Sunday night's severe weather and high winds left nearly 200,000 without power across Michigan, including over 20,000 in West Michigan.

Sunday's storms shut down the Mackinac Bridge as winds hit over 60 mph and Huron County was hit by a tornado which damaged a school and knocked down trees.

WZZM-13 reports over 18,000 Consumers Energy customers lost power in Kent County, over 4,500 in Muskegon County, plus 1,900 in Ottawa County.

Many in West Michigan remain without power and restoration estimates are a late as Wednesday for some areas.
