Holiday Roooaaddd! Spring Lake Style! [VIDEO]

Here it is for 2011, and fresh and new! The Spring Lake Holiday Road Lights extravaganza! A $250 a month electric bill for the lights, but a $40,000 donation to Special Olympics makes it all worth it! The 13 house display, anchored by Brad Boyink's 300,000 Christmas LED lights at his house on Heather Court, is the second largest in the country.

The display runs 6-9 pm Tuesdays-Thursdays, 6-10 pm Friday-Saturday; through Christmas Day. On 16204 Heather Court, Spring Lake Township, enter Heather Court from the north off of West Spring Lake Road. It's free, but donations are accepted. Proceeds go to Special Olympics. Everyone gets a candy cane, and if you donate $15 or more receive a holiday shirt that lights up.
