Last year, YouTube prankster “Magic of Rahat” surprised then-homeless Eric by purchasing him a fake lottery ticket. Little did Eric know that Rahat had given $1,000 to a store clerk and Eric’s chances of winning were 100 percent.

Rahat (who has over three million YouTube subscribers) posted the clip and was slammed with a firestorm of messages asking how they could donate to Eric. He set up a crowd-funding project to help Eric get back on his feet. This is the result.
