Hostess is recalling over 700,000 cases of Ding Dongs, Zingers and Coco-diles after it was found that the flour used has peanut residue. This can cause illness to those who are highly sensitive or allergic to peanuts.

The original recall was issued by Grain Craft who supplies Hostess with the flour they use in the popular snack cakes.

The affected products were sold to grocery stores, convenience stores and drug stores throughout the United States. They were the single serve products, bagged donuts and multipack boxes.

If you have a peanut allergy or sensitivity you are encouraged to either throw the product away or return it to the store you purchased it from for a refund.

If you have more questions regarding the recall you can call 1-800-686-2813 or visit www.hostesscakes.com
