The votes have been tallied, and the winner of the sixth annual West Michigan Whitecaps food contest is Hot-To-Tot.

The buffalo chicken and bleu cheese covered tater tot concoction will be on the menu at Fifth Third Ballpark this season.

The dish will make its debut on Thursday, April 9, at the Whitecaps' home opener, and will be available at the mac-and-cheese cart on the concourse behind home plate.

The Hot-To-Tot's 17 percent of the votes just barely beat out the French Fry Pizza Pie, which came home with 16 percent. Coming in third with 14 percent was Cheesy Does It, and fourth place with 12 percent was The Legend of Pickle Hollowed. Fifth Place was a tie, with both Beer-A-Misu and Picnic-On-A-Stick earning 11 percent, while the Weenie Panini captured 10 percent for seventh place. Seems folks weren't too interested in the Cotton Candy Curveball (4 percent), the Crispy Pig Chips (3 percent) or the Kat Dog (2 percent).

Previous winners of the food contest include the Auger Dogger in 2014, Baco in 2013, Westside Po' Boy in 2012, Chicks with Sticks in 2011 and the Cudighi Yooper Sandwich and the Declaration of Independence, both in 2010.

All the former items have been retired from the menu.

The Fifth Third Burger is still available.
