Tis the season to be horrified. Sure, it isn’t the traditional saying, but if you were to ask YouTube’s own JackValeFilms, the long-established idiom needed a punch up. And why not bring in history’s most frightening Christmas character of all time to help out?

The video — in which Vale (dressed as the Grinch) willingly climbs inside a garbage can only to scare passersby — proves that after having just competed in Macy’s “Kill-The-Person-Next-To-You-For-60%-Off” Sale, a little scare from a guy in a garbage can was just what they needed… sans that woman at the end. Boy, was she angry.
