‘Humans of New York’ Blogger Highlighting Michigan’s Macomb County

"Humans of New York" has made its way to Michigan.

Brandon Stanton started "Humans" in 2010, setting out to photograph thousands of New Yorkers and share their stories. He now has millions of followers on social media.

Generally, Stanton posts a photo of the subject of his interview and a quote from that interview. Occasionally, he'll use a series of photos of the same subject to tell a longer story.

Stanton has travelled the world now, branching out far beyond New York city, and now he's come here to Michigan.

'Humans of New York' posted Monday that it has been speaking to residents in Macomb County. The blog has started sharing those stories.
