It never has been an easy job to be an Olympic boxing official. There have been charges of corruption at the top of Amateur Boxing since the beginning of its very existence.

So when an Irish boxer, Michael Conlan, felt jobbed by his close loss to Russian Vladimir Nikitin, he let his middle finger do the talking.

  'I'll never box for the AIBA again, they're cheating bastards,"
Conlan told Yahoo! Sports. "They're paying everybody!" The AIBA is the ruling body that governs the Olympic boxing, and amateur boxing world wide.

The Olympic boxing decisions have been become so contentious over the years that the AIBA has effectively killed any appeal process, leaving Conlan without an avenue to pursue a reversal.

Conlan later shared a heart warming letter he received from his nephew to help soothe his angered feelings.

Between Conlan, and the these Irish rowers who gave a hilarious, if hard to understand interview following their silver medal performance, the Irish have been very entertaining in Rio, if not all that productive.
