As a debate emerges over who should be on the twenty dollar bill, I wonder if anyone else notices something about Andrew Jackson's etching on the current twenty.

It appears our 7th President bears more than a passing resemblence to actor Jeff Conaway in his iconic role as Kenickie in the 1979 movie 'Grease'.

Yesterday, it was announced that abolitionist Harriet Tubman will replace Jackson on the new twenty dollar bill. While Jackson will still be on the back of the bill, the debate has begun over whether  Jackson was being unfairly tossed aside.

Which brings me back to my original point. Back in 2003, when the original portrait of Jackson was replaced by a larger, more streamlined version, I noticed his close resemblence to Conaway's portrayal of the wise cracking best friend to John Travolta's Danny Zuko in 'Grease'.

Here's a side by side comparison. If you cover their mouths, the resemblence is uncanny. If only Jackson had been a mouth breather and stored cigarettes in his ear like Kenickie, they could have been identical twins.

And before his tragic death in 2011, Conaway began to look even more like Jackson.
