It’s Christmas Parade Weekend In West Michigan
Santa Claus will be busy this weekend throughout the area, as he's scheduled to appear at eight different Christmas parades. Here's the schedule.
The 34th annual Coopersville Christmas Parade
Friday, December 5, 7:00 pm
This year’s theme is “Tis the Season of Giving, Sharing and Caring”. The Grand Marshall is Pack it Up, a program that exists as a community endeavor to ensure that all children in the Coopersville Area Public Schools have access to a nutritious meal to take home every school day.
The Rockford Chamber of Commerce 71st Annual Santa Parade

The parade winds through downtown Rockford and will feature plenty of Boy and Girl Scouts, floats, candy, music and the big man himself, Santa Claus. Following the parade, Santa will find a nice comfortable chair at the Rotary Pavilion and listen to the children’s lists, giving them a gift bag when they are finished. Also, there will be free milk and cookies, compliments of Country Fresh and Arnie’s Bakery, a choir singing carols, and children’s activities.
The Wyoming/Kentwood Chamber of Commerce Santa Parade

This parade heads south along Division Avenue from 34th Street to Murray Street. Bring your camera along to the Brann's Steakhouse location at 4132 Division afterwards for photos with Santa immediately after the parade.
The Byron Center Christmas Parade

The floats and festivities will launch from Nichols Intermediate School and end at Pathways Church. The parade features Nativity themed floats and Santa Claus.
The Middleville Lions Club Christmas Parade

The Parade travels east on Main Street from McFall Elementary School to Church Street.
Saugatuck Whoville Parade

Saugatuck becomes Whoville, so dress up as your favorite Whoville resident and join the Saugatuck community for this Festive Holiday Parade which will be led by Whoville's fabled Mayor as parade Marshall. Sponsored by the Saugatuck/Douglas Visitors Bureau. Patrons can then visit Santa’s Workshop at Coral Gables Annex and make holiday crafts from 1:30-4:30 p.m. A tree lighting is scheduled for 5 p.m. in the Rose Garden.
60th Annual Hastings Christmas Parade

The Hastings Christmas parade is just one of a host of Holiday events going on in the Barry County community this weekend. Hosted by the Hastings Rotary Club and the Barry County Chamber of Commerce this year's a parade will feature a “Hometown Vintage Christmas” theme will begin at the at the corner of Boltwood and East State streets and proceed west on State Street before turning south on Church Street, then east on Center to end at the former Felpausch parking lot.
Grand Haven Jingle Bell Parade

The Jingle Bell Parade floats and walkers head down Franklin Avenue to Harbor, make a right to Washington and follow along Washington to Central Park to follow by the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree with Mr. & Mrs. Claus.
Lowell Santa Parade
Saturday, December 6, 6:00pm
This year's theme is "Christmas Around the World", and kicks off a series of Holiday events, including Santa's visiting hours aboard the historic Lowell Showboat on the Flat River. The parade rolls down historic Main Street, beginning at the Fairgrounds, ending east end of town.
