It’s Tigers Opening Day! And Even Though He’s Gone, Ernie Harwell Starts The New Season!

Ernie would always read this small passage before the first spring training game, but it is just as fitting on opening day!

I have a friend who is from the Detroit Area, (Warren to be exact) who goes to Opening Day every year. And has never watched an inning of Opening Day actually INSIDE the ballpark. He goes, but celebrates in his own interesting way....
