Joe Perry has a little something special for his fans this holiday season.  The Aerosmith guitarist has released the four-track EP "Joe Perry's Merry Christmas."

Check out his version of Chuck Berry's "Run Run Rudolph".

Perry says he recorded instrumental versions of the classics "Silent Night" and "White Christmas," "staying close to the classic versions everyone knows" so "people could sing along."

Vocal versions of "Run, Run Rudolph and "Santa's Back in Town" round out the set.  Perry explains that he sings those songs because they aren't as well known, and he suspects many people "would have to hear the lyrics to know they are Christmas songs."

Joe got a little help in the studio from actor Johnny Depp, who plays rhythm guitar on the EP.  "Joe Perry's Merry Christmas" is available now from UnisonMusic.com and iTunes.

"Joe Perry's Merry Christmas" isn't the rocker's first seasonal offering.  He provided an instrumental version of "Blue Christmas" to the 1996 compilation "Merry Axemas: A Guitar Christmas."  And he recorded a version of "Run, Run Rudolph" in 2008 that he posted on YouTube.
