Prior commitments kept me from seeing the ageless Hoosier rocker at DeVos Hall Tuesday, but thanks to John's prodigious amount of live videos online, I've pieced together some highlights.

From what I hear, the concert was wonderfully staged with a scaled back band, and a nice tour through the lengthy career of one of the great Midwestern rock stars. Here's what it may have looked like...

There was a rocking rip through of 'Small Town'.

A subdued sing along of 'Jack and Diane'

A song from his new album, Plain Spoken.

A talk about all the old folks talking about the old times, leading right into 'Cherry Bomb'.

And my favorite song, 'Check It Out'
