John Stamos confirmed the Netflix reboot of the iconic family TV show while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

"Literally five minutes they called, they sealed the deal," Stamos told Kimmel. Reports say the entire cast is returning.

Netflix made it official with a press release confirming “Fuller House,” an all-new 13 episode season premiering in 2016, starring a trio of familiar faces: DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron-Bure), her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy Gibler (Andrea Barber). Say hello to the new Danny, Jesse and Joey!

Is this really necessary? It's never going to be what you want it to be, so why not just leave the show in our collective memories? Because there's cash on the table, son, that's why.

According to the press release, the show will go like this:

The actual Jesse, Stam“In ’Fuller House,’ the adventures that began in 1987 on ’Full House’ continue, with veterinarian D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Cameron-Bure) pregnant and recently widowed, living in San Francisco. D.J.’s younger sister/aspiring musician Stephanie Tanner (Sweetin) and D.J.’s lifelong best friend/fellow single mother Kimmy Gibbler (Barber), along with Kimmy’s feisty teenage daughter Ramona, all move in to help take care of D.J.’s two boys — the rebellious 12-year-old J.D. and neurotic 7-year-old Max — and her soon-to-arrive baby.”os, is set to guest star on the show, acting as a producer as well, while discussions are ongoing with Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin to reprise their roles as Danny, Joey and Becky.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are talking about coming back as Michelle, too, but there's nothing official.

In “Fuller House,” DJ’s ex-husband’s last name was “Fuller,” so we can safely assume Steve is still alive?
