I stumbled a bit last week, falling to .500 (2-2) for the first time since the season began.

But I'm still 50-9 for the season, so let's wrap it up with a bang, as the rivalry week descends upon the Big Ten and the two local Division II schools move their intense rivalry into the playoffs.

Ohio State (10-1) at Michigan (9-2), noon Saturday, Michigan Stadium, Ann Arbor -- The Game got even bigger last week when Michigan State stunned Ohio State and made this game even more important for both teams. The Buckeyes were the favorites in this one until running back Ezekial Elliot opened his yap and made it clear there is some dissention in their ranks. Don't believe it for a minute, there's one thing all Buckeyes agree on, and that's their hatred of all things Michigan. And the feeling is mutual. Jim Harbaugh was hired for one reason, and one reason only, to beat Ohio State. Maybe that's why he became the first coach to participate in the weird tradition of cracking a Buckeye nut over Bo Schembechler's grave. Michigan 22, Ohio State 17

Penn State (7-4) at Michigan State (10-1), 3:30pm Saturday, Spartan Stadium, East Lansing -- Can you say 'trap game' for the Spartans? After last week's emotional take down of Ohio State, the Spartans need to beware of a pretty good Penn State team. But as Michigan proved last week, having a good quarterback like Christian Hecklenberg is meaningless for Penn State when your offensive line can't block for him. Just ask Matthew Stafford. MSU 27, PSU 14

Eastern Michigan (1-10) at Central Michigan (6-5), 1:00pm Kelly Shorts Stadium, Mt. Pleasant -- Central has a better football team than their record indicates. In week one they battled a very good Oklahoma State team down to the wire. Now it's time to step up and finish with a winning record. Central 34, Eastern 13

Western Michigan (6-5) at Toledo (9-1), noon Saturday, Glass Bowl, Toledo -- If the Broncos can somehow manage to upset the Rockets, it would create a rare four way tie for the West Division title (which shows you how weak the East is), in which Northern Illinois holds the tie breaker. So the Huskies are definitely rooting for the Broncos. Toledo 24, Western 21

Grand Valley State (10-2) at Ferris State (11-0), noon Saturday, Top Taggert Field, Big Rapids -- Grand Valley turned the tables on Ashland, and advanced in the NCAA Division II playoffs to earn a rematch with Ferris, who destroyed them 61-24 in Allendale way back in week two. Have the Lakers improved enough to beat the Bulldogs? Nope, but it will be much, much closer. Ferris 45, GVSU 34
