Jon Bon Jovi is trying his hand at TV producing. The rocker has joined forces with The Weinstein Company to produce the reality series “If I Wasn’t A Rock Star,” which will follow music stars as they go back home and try to experience the lives they would have had had they never made it big in music.

In other words, rock stars will return home to rub their success in the faces of everyone who picked on them in high school.

That might be worth tuning into. Bon Jovi explained his motivation to do the show this way: "I was drawn to this project simply because it will be a celebration of the working men and women of this country. They are the real rock stars."

Want a better reality TV show idea? Pluck some schmoes out of obscurity and let them go on tour with the band. That would be like winning the lottery, only to have to give all the money back after a week or two.
