It looks like Deen Castronovo might have to stop believing he'll be a free man. The Journey drummer was arrested earlier this month on domestic violence charges and now rape and other crimes have been added to the list.

Neither the drummer nor his lawyer is talking after these latest additions to the charges were made, but two weeks ago Castronovo's rep, Jeffrey Jones, said his client was "deeply saddened" by the charges and confident that no criminal conduct occurred. We'll keep you updated as more information rolls in.

Others like Marion County District Attorney Jennifer Gardiner say Castronovo is "unstable."

She added: "The texts ranged from threats to kill himself, that she hates him, that he hates her. They were sorrowful and vengeful – several also said he wanted to see her suffer for what 'she has done,' to him."

The judge in the case has declined to set bail for Castronovo, who was in the news recently for helping out the school district in his hometown raise money for their arts program following a fire.

As far as his career with Journey is concerned, that may already be over, as the band replaced Castronovo with Omar Hakim last month.
