Not to be outdone by their foodie-obsessed neighbors to the north in the West Michigan Whitecaps, the new Kalamazoo Growlers baseball team (college summer league) is trying to make a name for itself in the concessions department.

And if their first offering is any indication, they are going to hit a lot of food home runs!

WOOD-TV has this story about the new "Bear Claw" burger served at Stryker Field. "Bear Claw Burger coming to K’zoo stadium"

The burger is a half-pound Angus hamburger topped with Michigan-based Ebel’s barbeque pulled pork, macaroni and cheese and coleslaw between two Sweetwater’s Donut Mill bear claw donuts.

The burger serves two people, comes with two bags of chips and will cost you $12.00."

I have to say, the mac n cheese and and the pulled pork make this pretty interesting. I know my way around the Mall City pretty well. I might have to get me one this summer.
