Kenny Rogers fans won’t want to miss his upcoming Christmas concerts, because it just may be the last time they’ll get to see him. During an appearance on NBC's The Today Show this past Friday, Rogers announced that he was retiring. "It's happily sad or sadly happy," he said. "I'm going to do a big worldwide tour, and it's going to be my last. I'm going to say goodbye at that point; I've done this long enough."

As for his decision to hang it up, it seems it’s all about family. Rogers, who has five children, including 11-year-old twin sons, simply wants to spend more time with them. "I really want to be there with my kids," Rogers explained. "They're very important to me, and I don't see enough of them.”

But things aren’t over yet. The 77-year-old Rogers’ latest album, “Once Again It’s Christmas,” dropped Friday, and his latest Christmas tour kicks off November 11th in Niagara Falls, Canada.

So what's your favorite Kenny Rogers song of all time? It's got to be 'The Gambler', hands down, right?
