Take a look at the tiger to the left. Does it look real? Would you call the authorities if you saw it?

That's what happened Thursday when Kent County Animal Control received a call about a tiger roaming about Grand Rapids' Southwest side.

Today ACO Jensen & ACO Supervisor Dainelis responded to a report of a TIGER in someone's backyard on the SW side of GR! Upon their arrival, it appeared real from what they could see from the street!

They looked through the side fence and discovered that it was a life-sized stuffed animal!!! No worries Grand Rapids, you are now safe from this wild animal!

Strangely, this was the second incident this month involving people being confused by a stuffed animal. the other occurred in the State of Washington on May 21.

The Camas, Washington police received 911 calls about a tiger on the roof of an SUV. Connor Zuvich was hanging with friends at a lake when a trucker dumped trash and the giant tiger. Connor attached the stuffed tiger to his roof and began cruising around. Cops stopped Connor and joked about the incident. Connor says people have been honking and giving him a thumbs-up.

It looks like the same stuffed tiger, maybe it's a conspiracy!
