Kentwood residents affected by  the tornado that struck the area Sunday, July 6 are invited to a community resource meeting. It's 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 14, at Kelloggsville Christian Reformed Church, located at 610 52nd St SE (map). 

City officials are holding the meeting to get out information on recovery efforts, city services and other assistance that can help residents in the removal of debris, home repairs and other issues caused by the tornado.

Kentwood Mayor Stephen Kepley, the police, fire and department of public works will be the there along with with community service administrators and representatives from volunteer organizations, including the Red Cross.

If you were affected by the tornado and are unable to attend, City of Kentwood representatives urge you to ask a friend or neighbor to go to a pick up an information packet on your behalf.
