A 12-year-old boy in Taiwan stumbled over a rope guard and accidentally punched a hole through a very valuable painting. The piece, called "Flowers" by Paolo Porpora, is worth approximately $1.5 million. It suffered damage to its lower-right corner, but is being restored. The kid, however, suffered at least as much damage to his pride.

The exhibit's curator has asked that the boy not be punished, which makes this poor kid extremely lucky (along with clumsy). A million-and-a-half bucks would have been a lot of allowances to fork over.

Kind of reminds us of the time we tripped and spilled our milkshake all over our mom's new shoes. That's pretty much the same thing, right?
