Lauren’s Wienermobile Saga Continues

I've talked about my love of the Wienermobile several times; it's on my bucket list!

On Monday, September 8, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile tweeted that it was in Grand Rapids!

I follow the official Wienermobile Twitter account and I also downloaded the Wienermobile app for iPhone, just to ensure that I catch the giant driveable hot dog whenever it's in town.

After Monday's tweet, the Wienermobile wasn't showing up on their app so I tweeted them, called them, emailed them, looked on their website, asked you to keep an eye out for it, and even Googled it- nothing!

So of course it figures that yesterday afternoon literally just as I'm approaching my house, I got a call from the Afternoon Hustle telling me that a co-worker just got his picture taken with the Wienermobile at the Mel Trotter Thrift Store on 28th street!

WHAT?!

My best friend/roommate Maria was kind enough to accompany me on the hunt for, but alas, by the time we got there it was already gone.

Here's our friendly sales guy Matt Conrardy cheesin' away with the Wienermobile!

Matt said he was just driving down 28th street when he saw it so he pulled over and had his picture taken with it- lucky dog! (get it?)

My quest to find the Wienermobile continues!
