If Elvis Presley were alive today he’d be turning 80, and there’s no way that milestone will pass without a big celebration.

Starting today, the website ElvisTheMusic.com goes live, which will feature a database of all Elvis-related things, and will also feature a live stream of a Presley birthday celebration at Graceland, in which the singer’s ex-Priscilla Presley will appear.

And big fans can already go to iTunes, where they can nab “The Complete ‘60s Albums Collection Vol.1,  featuring re-mastered Elvis recordings from 1960-1965, including ”Elvis Is Back,” “G.I. Blues,” “His Hand In Mine,” “Something for Everybody,” “Blue Hawaii,” and many others.

And if that’s not enough, Spotify has teamed with Legacy Recordings for an official musical collection, titled #Elvis80: The Fan Favorites Playlist.”

With that in mind -- here's my list of the Top Five Elvis songs, covering all the eras, from thin Elvis, through Leather Jacket Elvis all the way to Fat Elvis.

    Jailhouse Rock

It's not the song so much as the idea of convicted felons dancing their misery away in this TV dance number that makes this unforgettable. We need more in jail dancing, don't you think?

    In The Ghetto

Elvis liked to think of himself as socially conscious, and whether he actually made a difference is a matter of debate, but this take on inner city life in the '70s certainly struck a chord.

    Kentucky Rain

Penned by yet to be country star Eddie Rabbit, this tale of a man roaming through the back roads of Kentucky seeking his girlfriend is both goofy and heart warming at the same time.

    Blue Suede Shoes

This rendition of Carl Perkins ode to oddly colored footwear propelled Elvis to superstardom as it was his screen test for MGM which paved the way to his film career. But honestly, has anyone ever seen a pair of blue suede shoes, much less worn them?

    Suspicious Minds

If you've ever seen Elvis in concert, this is known as the song that never ends. Full of brash horns, and windmill moves, the song builds and Elvis was known to carry it out over 20 minutes live.
