Little Leaguer or big leaguer?

Michigan’s Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores Little League squad, which begins play at the Little League World Series this week, boasts a player with a physique so imposing he could scare some guys in the majors.

Chad Lorkowski, nicknamed ‘Swag Daddy,’ stands six-foot-two and weighs 200 pounds. And he’s 12 years old, so make sure to get those “there’s no way he’s the right age” jokes that typically dog Little League teams this time of year.

As Deadspin points out, Chad is an inch taller and only 20 pounds lighter than Kevin Youkilis. Considering the injuries that have plagued Youkilis, maybe the Yankees should think about signing Swag Daddy.

Chad wears size 15 shoes and dominates in his games. In the game that sent Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores to Williamsport, he belted two home runs and struck out 10. About the only thing he didn’t do was water the outfield grass and sell hot dogs.

Chad and his teammates will begin play at the Little League World Series this Friday.
