Man Fakes Moms Obit To Get Day Off

flickr image

Wow, guess he didn’t have any more PTO to take!  So here’s a way to do it.

Publish an obituary for your living mother to snag a day off!

Relatives called The Jeffersonian Democrat newspaper in Brookville after the obit appeared to report the woman was actually alive and well – Then mom actually went into the paper to prove that she was still alive!

Police charged him with disorderly conduct. I didn’t know that was the charge for fake obits, so if you’re thinking of trying it, now you know!

What’s the craziest excuse you’ve ever come up with to get a day off?
