Fireworks went off during a fireworks show in Disney World last week.

Click on Detroit reports that a 41-year-old woman from Macomb County was arrested on Wednesday, April 5th on suspicion of child abuse. Police in Florida say the woman choked a girl who was blocking her view of the fireworks at Disney's Magic Kingdom.

Tabitha Mature (I know, the irony) was sitting behind a group of high school kids before the fireworks show began. Once it did, everyone stood up, blocking the view of the suspect. Apparently she became angry when the girl wouldn't sit down. When the group got up to leave, they told Mature that she and her family could take their spot.

According to the police report, the victim recalls that

...she wrapped both hands around my neck and began squeezing."

The woman let the girl go once she started screaming and then told her:

You don't want to mess with me."

The girl and her friends reported the incident to an employee who then notified the cops.

Click On Detroit says the victim and her mother intend on pressing charges against the Michigan woman, who was charged with felony child abuse but then released on bond.
