It's not often we get an earthquake in Michigan. But when we do, we tend to laugh about it.

Saturday's 4.2 shaker centered near Galesburg demonstrated our ability to mock our lack of seismic activity.

While we all realize that earthquakes can cause nasty amounts of damage and death, that's not gonna happen here anytime soon, which meant the little shake we felt Saturday was the cause for much laughs online.

Here's an actual web cam that shook a little bit during the quake. I'm not sure where this is but I'm guessing Pere Marquette City Beach in Muskegon.

Minutes after the quake, photos started being posted online of all the "damage" it caused. Here's a couple that demonstrated the prevailing theme of the day: all things considered, this was nothing.

But my favorite was the guy who found a road tore up by a serious earthquake and announced that all the roads in Michigan were "normal".
